Day 1 : Arrival In Srinagar

• Travel to Katra, the base camp for the pilgrimage to Mata Vaishno Devi. It's about 42 kilometers from Jammu and takes around 1.5 to 2 hours by road.
• Upon reaching Katra, check into a hotel and rest.
• You can explore Katra in the evening and visit local markets.

Day 2 : Arrival In Srinagar

• Begin the trek to the holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi early in the morning. The trek is approximately 13 kilometers from Katra.
• You can reach the shrine either by walking the entire way, or by hiring a pony or palanquin (doli) available for hire.
• Seek blessings at the Vaishno Devi Temple and spend some time in devotion.
• After darshan, start the descent back to Katra.

Day 3 : Arrival In Srinagar

Leave Katra early in the morning and head towards Patnitop, a scenic hill station.
Patnitop is around 80 kilometers from Katra and takes approximately 2-3 hours by road.
Explore the beautiful landscapes, lush greenery, and activities like paragliding or nature walks in Patnitop.

Depart from Patnitop and head towards Srinagar, the capital city of Jammu and Kashmir.
Srinagar is about 180 kilometers from Patnitop and takes around 4-5 hours by road.
Upon reaching Srinagar, check into a houseboat or hotel on Dal Lake and experience the unique stay on water.
In the evening, enjoy a Shikara ride on Dal Lake and witness the mesmerizing sunset.

Day 4 : Arrival In Srinagar

Visit Mughal Gardens like Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi, known for their stunning beauty and Mughal architecture.
Explore the old city, visit the Jama Masjid, and stroll through the bustling markets to experience the local culture and shop for souvenirs.

Day 5 : Arrival In Srinagar

Travel to Gulmarg, a renowned hill station and skiing destination.
It's around 50 kilometers from Srinagar and takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours by road.

Day 6 : Arrival In Srinagar

Depart from Srinagar in the morning towards Sonmarg.
Sonmarg is approximately 80 kilometers northeast of Srinagar and usually takes around 2-3 hours by road.
Enjoy the scenic drive through beautiful landscapes, passing by lush green meadows, gushing rivers, and snow-capped mountains.
Spend the rest of the day exploring the picturesque surroundings of Sonmarg.
Visit Thajiwas Glacier (depending on accessibility) and indulge in activities like pony rides or short hikes in the area.
Visit the Zero Point, where the road ends and offers stunning views of the snow-capped peaks.

Head back to Srinagar for Overnight stay at Houseboat

Day 7 : Arrival In Srinagar

Depart from Srinagar in the morning and start your journey towards Pahalgam.
Pahalgam is approximately 90 kilometers southeast of Srinagar and usually takes around 2.5 to 3 hours by road.
Enjoy the picturesque drive through the stunning Kashmir Valley, passing by beautiful landscapes, rivers, and charming villages.
Upon reaching Pahalgam, check into your hotel or accommodation.
Explore the scenic beauty of Pahalgam and its surroundings.
Visit Betaab Valley, named after a Bollywood movie, and enjoy the serene ambiance surrounded by lush greenery and mountains.
Optionally, you can go for a pony ride or explore the local market.

Depart from Pahalgam to Jammu by road with delightful memories

Arrive in Katra, a town near the Vaishno Devi shrine.

After Having Lunch step towards the Mata Vaishnov Devi for Darshan
Trek to the temple and seek blessings from the Goddess.
Return to Katra and spend the evening at your leisure.
